We had an exceptional dining experience as a group of six, and it was worth every penny. The cocktails were both strong and sweet, the quality of the food was outstanding, and the service was excellent. The ambience was very calm, and the live music was entertaining but not loud enough to drown the conversations at the table. The only drawbacks were that the desserts were not particularly special and the line for the restrooms was quite long. For such a large venue, it would be expected to have more than just two stalls in the women's restroom. Will definitely be coming back again, and again.

Even though it was a very busy night and all tables were full, the service at Perry’s was excellent and we never felt neglected. There was a set menu for Valentines weekend and I got the lobster bisque and bacon wrapped filet with lump crabmeat. It came with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies, all cooked perfectly. They did give me the wrong dessert so that was a bummer. I got it to go so I didn’t realize it until we got home but the chocolate strawberries were good even though I wanted the cheesecake. The price was $79 per person plus extra for drinks which was about the same as the regular menu price if we had ordered the same items.

The food was excellent. The cheesy roasted cabbage wedges were alittle bland but that was the only complaint about the food. The scallops might be the best scallops I’ve ever had. We were seated directly in line with the entrance so everytime the door opened I would get a breeze against my back. Would probably ask for a different table next time. Service was excellent, the waiter had an excellent feel on just how often to check in on how we were doing.

We sat in one of the booths by the bar and it was so quaint for a date night. Our food was amazing, especially the fried oysters! Service was quick and all the staff was extremely friendly.

Fabulous as usual. This place never disappoints. We were surprised to see a few new menu items. I love the ability to add shaved truffle to my meal… amazing. I had the Risotto di Carne, it was very creamy and full of flavor, the shaved truffle took it to another level that left me blissful. Hubby always gets the Chicken Parmesan with angel hair… he loves it every time. They added bread service a while ago and it is always fresh with a nice soft inside. My only complaint is the table tops are too low… I’m only 5 feet tall and still have a slight bend to my torso if I rest my arm on the table. The chairs have a slight recline backwards both the table & chairs are awkward when trying to have a conversation with the person across from you. So you have to sit up straight to not feel awkward… I want to relax at dinner.

Discover El Campo

When you drive southwest from Houston on U.S. Highway 59, you come to a little town that began as a railroad camp. El Campo was once considered by cowboys to be the "Pearl of the Prairies." In spite of the area's oil industry today, locally grown crops are an important economic commodity and a staple for nearby restaurants. You'll find lots of rice and corn on the menus at the numerous Mexican eateries. Likewise, the vast cattle industry in Texas accounts for the many barbecue restaurants in El Campo. Some smokehouses even sell fresh meat and Caribbean jerky. Since the Gulf of Mexico is not too far away, you'll have no trouble finding good seafood in town. Fish, oysters, stuffed crab, and shrimp are favorites among locals. Some area cuisine even has a hint of Cajun and Creole seasoning.
