- MMelanieLancashire •17 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAbsolutely amazing staff, melt in the mouth food, I got to eat things I would not have otherwise chosen and was very pleasantly impressed. Wasn’t cheap I’m not going to lie! It’s rare to get somewhere that’s very much fine dining outside the city, but this ticked all the boxes, although I thought Google was having a laugh when we drove through the farmyard! There were a couple of loud groups which ruined the atmosphere a little, and I struggle with partial deafness because if there’s a lot of background noise I can’t hear my partner talking. The staff moved us discreetly and without question. They also were very diplomatic in getting the groups to tone it down without affecting their evening too. Tip - our table was originally near the kitchen (very exciting to see artwork in process!) and was nicely warm (but not too hot), we moved to another table next to the windows which was a bit nippy at times, so if you feel the cold don’t ask for a table with a view! Can’t wait to come back, might have to save up first though 🤣More infoEight at Gazegill By Doug CramptonPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Howgill•4.9

My husband had the potato wedges which he said were very good Had sticky toffee pudding desert which was yummy . It was our anniversary and we were presented with a lovely signed plate with homemade meringues which was lovely . The staff member who served us was polite and attentive . - NNickYorkshire •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoHaworth is fortunate to have some exceptional places to eat, drink, and meet with friends and family. The Old Post Office sets the standard and is one of the very exceptional. The staff are welcoming and easy to get to know. The food is restaurant quality. The decor and history theme is tastefully done with keen attention to detail. I have yet to find a reason to criticise. 5stars!More infoThe Old Post Office HaworthPrice: Moderate• Café• Keighley•4.7
