- JJulieVIPHouston •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWell - I goofed ! I was considering several restaurants in Savannah because I eat gluten free . Let’s be honest - there is a lot of gluten in traditional Southern cooking. I booked the wrong date for our reservation! When I looked at their menu I realized there would be some GF options ! The hostess graciously accommodated my husband and I and we were able to get a table . I had a delicious meal that was gluten free ! I had the special - sea bass with risotto! Delightful ! I am grateful for their understanding during this holiday season .More infoVic's on the RiverPrice: Expensive• Southern• Historic District - North•4.7
- AAdamVIPCoastal Georgia •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI continue to think that 11ten is the under appreciated gem of fine dining in Savannah. We ordered one old favorite (mussles with chorizo) and two new dishes- fried cauliflower and grouper on a bed of lima beans and cabbage. All were excellent. Out waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Not cheap- except compared to Common Thread :). Well worth a visit.More infoLocal 11ten Food & WinePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Historic District - South•4.8
- WWatsonCoastal Georgia •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOur reserved dinner table was ready upon arrival & our waitress was knowledgable and very helpful when questioned about entrees & wine. The menu offerings all sounded excellent and my short rib dish was excellent. The manager & sommelier both came by to ensure our dining experience was satisfactory. I plan to dine again & would highly recommend giving B Common a try.More infoCommon RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Southern• Historic District - North•4.6
- JJustinDenver / Colorado •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOur recent dining experience at Elizabeth on 37th was nothing short of extraordinary. My wife and I have made this our annual Christmas tradition, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. We indulged in the seven-course menu and highly recommend the wine pairing—it’s a splurge, but well worth it. The thoughtful pairing elevated each dish to new heights, showcasing the chef’s and sommelier’s expertise. A special shoutout to our server, Kim, who made the evening truly unforgettable. Kim was not only incredibly personable but he also took the time to explain each course in detail, highlighting how the flavors complemented the paired wines. His attentiveness and genuine enthusiasm went above and beyond, making us feel like VIPs throughout the evening. While the meal is on the pricier side, the quality and creativity of the dishes make it worth every penny. This restaurant is a gem in Savannah, offering both a romantic atmosphere and exceptional cuisine. Elizabeth on 37th is an experience we cherish every year, and we can’t wait to return.More infoElizabeth on 37thPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Thomas Square•4.9

Discover Statesboro
It's no secret that college towns often have some of the best hidden culinary treasures. With dives, delis, and diners galore, Statesboro is no exception. For an easy night out, hit up the downtown area for Italian fare, soul food, Mediterranean, or classic barbecue. If you're looking for a spot to catch up on some work, take a note from your fellow students by hitting up one of the multiple cafes or coffee shops for a specially prepared espresso drink or decadent sweet. But, when in coastal Georgia, it's the down-home Southern cooking that wins out. With fried chicken, okra, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, and cobbler on the menu, you'll be glad that most places here operate with a "meat and three" state of mind.
