Niantic Restaurants

The food and service were phenomenal! The atmosphere depends on what you like and where they seat you. We were by the waterfall, which is pretty, but also right where everyone was walking by so it’s not very private or quiet. Not bad at all, just depends what you like. Can’t recommend the food enough. Despite being very busy they were timely and extremely tasty with everything cooked perfectly.

We loved the wine we ordered, a cabernet sauvignon and sauvignon blanc. We had the bread which was wonderful and the salmon and eggplant parmesan we enjoyed both. Parking was horrible, never seen it like this so we had to skip dessert to get to the concert.

Tao Mohegan Sun is a perfect place for dinner before a show. Delicious and well-presented food. The orange chicken was delicious, especially with a side order of Jasmine rice. I asked for extra orange chicken sauce to use on the rice. Our Salmon order was also very tasty. Service was quick and above par. Music by an in-house DJ was super loud. Song choices were nice but created an atmosphere that felt like we were at a club at 2 a.m. on a Saturday.

Excellent food as always. Steak cooked perfectly as was the baked potato. The lime pie was delicious. The staff was friendly and checked on us regularly. Our favorite at the Sun.

We celebrated our anniversary and had a delightful meal. Our server, Paige, was excellent. Just the right balance of attentiveness and friendliness, while not rushing us. The food was excellent. The view of the water made everything perfect for a special occasion.
