The overall experience was very good. The only complaint I can give is I think the food is a little bit pricey.

Took my mom here for her 72nd birthday and we couldn’t be happier about our choice in restaurant!! Food and service were both impeccable. Our party of 4 had: oysters, filet mignon, French onion soup, wagyu short rib, truffle mac n cheese. Everything was SO GOOD! Anthony was our server and he made the experience that much better!! Highly recommended for any occasion!

We visited Veritas for dinner before attending the Drinks & Deception show upstairs. Upon arrival, the restaurant had a moderate crowd, but we quickly noticed that very few tables had food, which raised concerns about timing. It took about 10 minutes before a hostess even arrived to seat the three waiting parties they were at the door, suggesting they might have been understaffed or in the midst of a shift change. Once seated, the wait times for both food and drinks were noticeably long, which made it a bit stressful given our plans for the evening. Despite the delays, Veritas offers a fairly priced menu and a pleasant ambiance. I’d consider returning in the future, hoping they address the staffing and wait-time challenges.

This was the best dining experience I have had in at least 3 years. Captain Jack Sparrow was our server and he was incredible. Friendly, funny, on top of all we asked for and made us feel like he was there for us. So many servers and restaurants have been settling for crap service with no apologies. This is the only restaurant in Jackson that I have had a good experience with and I will only dine here from now on when I want a night out.
