This restaurant is consistently wonderful. Food is always delicious. They have the best calamari

Jaclyn and the rest of the staff were amazing! We had an excellent meal and cocktails, everything was perfect and Jaclyn definitely made our holiday season extra joyful!

This is our second time for brunch. The service is always friendly and welcoming. The food is prepared exactly as requested. We will definitely come back again and will try the pizza the next time!

We dined at Samdan to celebrate my wife's birthday. Everything was wonderful from the time we arrived to our departure. We were greeted when we arrived and shown to a table. The menu is very broad, both in ingredients and in price. Our order was taken, water glasses were filled and wine was delivered. We did not take advantage of the ability to bring our own wine. We ordered a Shepards salad and some Babaghanoush … both were excellent. The time between courses was managed well. We waited a short time for our entree. We both ordered lamb shish which came with rice and slivered onion garnish. The lamb was very high quality and cooked to perfection. I had told the staff that it was my wife's birthday. We were given a very nice dessert with some candles. We've dined at Samdan in the past and have always been happy. This experience was just outstanding. My congratulations and thanks to the staff.

Terrific cocktails, attentive service (except, as seems prevalent everywhere, when it comes time to settle the tab - you’d think it’d be the opposite). Convenient ample parking. Ambiance not the greatest when there are loud customers adjacent, but I put that to “socio-economic entitlement”. (As an aside, one finds this entitlement when driving through Tenafly. Every 4-way stop is a ‘Thunderdome’ experience). Pricey but fine for a special occasion. Food’s not wow but flavorful and well prepared.
