Basilico Restaurant, located in Millburn, New Jersey was established by owner Mario De Marco , formerly of Sergio's, also in Millburn. Graduate of the Hotel Management School in Alassio, Italy. From Italy, he brought his original and authentic Italian cuisine to Millburn.
Basilico has a definite New York look and feel, which reflects in our food items. We use the best of ingredients. "Casual and chic" is how we have been described by reviewers. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable and energetic. Our goal is to maintain the highest level of hospitality, remembering that you are the guest, and it is our ultimate goal for you to leave thoroughly satisfied. Special requests can be accommodated.

The Carriage House Restaurant in the F.M. Kirby Carriage House is open for Pre-Performance and Post-Matinee dining. Two Course Prix Fixe lunch and Three Course Prix Fixe dinners are available two and half hours prior to most Main Stage Performances and after all Matinee Performances at the Paper Mill Playhouse. An eclectic a la carte menu and desserts is available only in the Bar and Loft area; walk up service recommended for our bar areas, reservations available. Our full bar offers premium spirits, fresh fruit sangria, and a stunning selection of interesting wines by the glass or bottle.

Wonderful experience as soon as we walked in the door. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our server John was friendly and knowledgeable! He made my first experience at Ruth Chris a memorable one! The food was fabulous and the steak was cooked to perfection.

Fantastic vibe, beautifully decorated, great energy, gracious service. 2 loved the salmon, 1 adored the linguini with shrimp, we all devoured the Brussels sprouts and sauteed mushrooms. The owner Jeanie gave us a backstage tour, a huge roving band of Santas serenaded the room, HO HO HO we are hooked!

We had a lovely experience at Eataly Short Hills! We started with drinks (Limoncello Spritz, & Negroni Bianco) paired with Pane Rustico and Calamari Fritti apps! For entrees we had Tagliatelle Al Tartufo Nero and Cavatelli con Salsiccia e Broccoli. We finished off our meal with the fantastic tiramisu! The timing between courses and service was perfect! Highly recommend!
