- JJulieVIPNew York City •33 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMy first time and love, love, love Cafe d’Alsace!!! Won’t be my last. Service was attentive without being intrusive. We had the lunch priced fix. The beet salad was fresh and just the right amount of goat cheese. The skate was spectacular and the mousse was sublime. Looking forward to returning soon. - NNicholasSacramento / Sacramento Valley •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMy wife and I made reservations ahead of our trip to NYC, and I'm so glad we did. We had foie gras, air-dried beef and honey-roasted figs. The foie did not come with crostini, but all we had to do was ask, and we had some toasted bread to spread the foie on, and it was as delicious as I remember. For dinner, I had scallop and paella with roasted pumpkin and sage. The scallops were perfectly cooked: tender, not stringy, with a good crust. My wife had short rib and aligot potatoes; the short rib was tender and well cooked, but could have been seasoned a bit more strongly. The aligot potatoes were cheesy, but not quite "stringy" (sorry IG; no epic cheese pulls here). We wrapped up the evening with a peanut-butter filled chocolate lava cake. Our server was so fantastic, Macie was so welcoming and attentive, and we enjoyed chatting with her as she came to take our orders or check in on how things were going. She did a wonderful job taking care of us. I'd definitely come back next time we're around.More infoTavern on the GreenPrice: Expensive• American• Midtown West•4.7
- DDavidPalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe atmosphere was great and we were a large group of 9 seated at a large round table which is perfect for conversations. The food was excellent - in particular the veal chop was amazing as was the branzino. The lemon cheesecake was great and presented in an artistic way. The manager helped during the service and she was outstanding. We would definitely come back!More infoBad RomanPrice: Expensive• Italian• Upper West Side•4.5
