- CCoreyNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoServer Dakota was Excellent and attentive to our needs, checked on us several times to make sure we were satisfied with the meal and drinks. The restaurant was pretty busy so the kitchen was moving a little slower paced but we were updated on the status of the food so it wasn’t an issue at all.More infoThe Chocolatier Restaurant + BarPrice: Expensive• American• Hershey•4.2
- TToddVIPPhiladelphia County •12 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoTreated ourselves to delicious post-Christmas lunch before going to The Fulton Theater. The holiday and winter decor make for a festive dining experience, but the food and beverages were "off the charts" fantastic! Highly recommend the French Country Chicken served in a skillet and the 9oz Filet Mignon.More infoC'est La ViePrice: Expensive• European• Lancaster•4.8
- XXavierWashington, D.C. Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoA Birthday to Remember at Belvedere Inn For my birthday dinner, my wife and I decided to celebrate at Belvedere Inn, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable dining experiences we've ever had. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable hospitality. The ambiance was simply enchanting—elegant yet inviting, with soft lighting and a touch of sophistication that set the perfect tone for the evening. The attention to detail in the decor was remarkable, creating an atmosphere that felt both luxurious and intimate. The menu was a culinary masterpiece, offering a variety of dishes that appealed to every palate. Every plate that arrived at our table was not just beautifully presented but also an explosion of flavor. We Started out with steamed mussels white wine, garlic, shallots and house made bread. I opted for the chicken piccata, cooked to perfection, while my wife savored the pan-seared scallops w/ veggies and chopped lobster, which was rich and creamy without being overwhelming. The dessert—a chocolate hazelnut richer with caramel and cocoa crumbs—was the cherry on top of an already extraordinary meal. What truly set Belvedere Inn apart, though, was the service. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made thoughtful recommendations that elevated our experience even further. To our surprise, the staff also brought out a complimentary dessert to mark my birthday, complete with a personalized message. In every aspect—food, ambiance, and service—Belvedere Inn exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply indulge in an unforgettable meal, I wholeheartedly recommend it. Opt for a quieter night at a critically acclaimed, plant-based gem in Midtown Village. Or splurge on a swanky steakhouse that presides over a corner of Rittenhouse Park. Whether you’re after an intimate spot for an anniversary date or a convivial atmosphere for a boisterous reunion, Philadelphia has you covered with these 12 celebration-worthy restaurants.
