- KKentPittsburgh / Western PA •33 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoMy wife and I celebrated our 41st Wedding Anniversary in style last night. We were also celebrating my 70th birthday. The Circular has been our 'go to' spot for these auspicious occasions for many years. In early January, the place is empty. We always get great seats. Though the meal costs are somewhat high, the food is always good. This go-round, we had a FREE ENTREE certificate (Birthday) and a $125 gift card. Both made the financial 'hit' more bearable. We'll be back again later on this year.More infoThe Circular at The Hotel HersheyPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Hershey•4.8

Both were excellent. Server was first class. Pleasant, attentive, and fast.More infoDevon Seafood + Steak - HersheyPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Hershey•4.7

- KKalidaIndiana •3 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoEven though we had a reservation we had to wait 15 minutes. The greeters seemed a little scrambled and didn’t really communicate how long our wait would be. Our waitress was excellent and the food was very good. Cajun pasta was perfect, fries GPT were tasty and the Margherita pizza was solid although it had a little too much cottage cheese. The flavor was really great, though!More infoDave & Buster's - Camp Hill (Harrisburg)Price: Moderate• American• Harrisburg•4.1

12 of Philadelphia’s outstanding spots for celebrating special occasions
Maybe you got engaged on the steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art or just picked up the keys to your first rowhouse. It could be that your kid is (finally) toilet trained, or that your noisy neighbor moved away. Sometimes, simply surviving another Tuesday can be an occasion to celebrate over a restaurant meal. It doesn’t have to be fancy. What makes an occasion special isn’t an arbitrary date on the calendar—it’s the decision to celebrate. Luckily, Philadelphia bursts with places where the food and atmosphere lend themselves to living it up. Grab dinner and a jazz show at a swinging North Broad Street faithful. Opt for a quieter night at a critically acclaimed, plant-based gem in Midtown Village. Or splurge on a swanky steakhouse that presides over a corner of Rittenhouse Park. Whether you’re after an intimate spot for an anniversary date or a convivial atmosphere for a boisterous reunion, Philadelphia has you covered with these 12 celebration-worthy restaurants.
