- JJamesPhiladelphia County •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoService was excellent. Everyone was very welcoming. Atmosphere was relaxing. However if you’re expecting a strong crab/shrimp taste from the crab/shrimp cakes, you may be disappointed. They were good, but the seasoning overrode the crab/shrimp taste. Would we go back again? Yes. Would we order the crab/ shrimp cakes? No.More infoThe Washington House - PennsylvaniaPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Sellersville•4.8

- TTiffanyPhiladelphia County •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoAbsolutely delicious meal for our entire party of 5. We attended for my husbands birthday and every aspect of the experience was pleasant from the moment we arrived. Our server was timely and thoughtful, everyone said that the meal they ordered was the best version they’ve ever had (burger, chicken sandwich, wedge salad, crab cakes, steak). We love this restaurant and can’t wait to go back !More infoSpinnerstown HotelPrice: Expensive• American• Quakertown•4.9
- AAmyPhiladelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoMy filet and lobster were cooked perfectly. My husbands veal was phenomenal. I plan to try the ribeye on our next visit since it’s cooked the same way as the veal. The veal melts in your mouth. The clams casino and salmon dumpling were delicious. The crème brûlée was fantastic. The staff and owner are so very nice and welcoming. Really a wonderful dining experience. Looking forward to our next visit.More infoArielle's Country InnPrice: Moderate• Steak• Sellersville•4.9

Portion sizes are appropriate, bread is out of this world and the staff is attentive. 12 of Philadelphia’s outstanding spots for celebrating special occasions
Maybe you got engaged on the steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art or just picked up the keys to your first rowhouse. It could be that your kid is (finally) toilet trained, or that your noisy neighbor moved away. Sometimes, simply surviving another Tuesday can be an occasion to celebrate over a restaurant meal. It doesn’t have to be fancy. What makes an occasion special isn’t an arbitrary date on the calendar—it’s the decision to celebrate. Luckily, Philadelphia bursts with places where the food and atmosphere lend themselves to living it up. Grab dinner and a jazz show at a swinging North Broad Street faithful. Opt for a quieter night at a critically acclaimed, plant-based gem in Midtown Village. Or splurge on a swanky steakhouse that presides over a corner of Rittenhouse Park. Whether you’re after an intimate spot for an anniversary date or a convivial atmosphere for a boisterous reunion, Philadelphia has you covered with these 12 celebration-worthy restaurants.

Discover Sellersville
When thinking of food in the Philadelphia area, the first thing that probably comes to mind is the cheese steak. The City of Brotherly Love founded the cheese steak sandwich in the 1930s. Sellersville, just outside of Philly, is home to a few sub shops that boast dozens of different variations on this classic. Most local restaurants are pretty casual, so if a good old Philly cheesesteak is what you're in the mood for, you've come to the right place. There are several American restaurants serving up hamburgers, locally caught venison, marinated chicken, and much more. You'll also find a few local coffee shops that are open daily for a warm, homemade breakfast.
