   We went for an early dinner before another event nearby and ordered from the set menu which was great value for 3 delicious courses. We called the restaurant on the way as we were stuck in traffic, and our booking time was amended without an issue. The location is great, conveniently closeto Liverpool Street station. The service was very efficient and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant is itself is lovely; comfortable and spacious with a good atmosphere and a very nice heated outdoor area too. The food was fabulous. The Caesar salad had a lovely dressing and very nice croutons, the chicken Kyiv was delicious, with really tasty mash and steamed spinach. Then burger was very good and the triple cooked chips are outstanding. Great wine menu and although we didn’t go for the steaks this time, they looked fantastic. Overall a lovely meal and a very reasonable bill with the great value menu. Would definitely recommend.

   Always fantastic and one of my main restaurant choices. perfect for business lunches, service is brilliant, they are very attentive and they always ask and accommodate food allergies which is very important, 10/10 and one of the best restaurants in London.

   The best steak for a long time. Service was speedy and professional. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Adjoining tables a bit noisy but did not cause us any issues

   I opted for the Jan Set menu rate which online stated £25 for 2 courses and £30 for 3 courses, with a glass of fizz each. What we were charged was a £5 increase on both set menu options and no fizz. When I queried it, I was told I was wrong and even when I showed proof, the server wasn't convinced. He took off the service, but when I reworked the calculations, I should have had £40 deducted for the set menu and if we'd been given a glass of fizz each for 8 of us, I wouldn't have needed to buy one of the bottle of wines, thus saving another £40. So I was actually about £80 out of pocket befote I conside4 a service charge (which is optional). This was the main disappointment of the night, otherwise food was top notch, service was good even considering there were only 2 staff members. Toilets needed a refresh and despite informing the staff, the hand gel and cream still had not been replaced when I visited the toilet before leaving.

   The food was delicious yet simple. The service was perfectly attentive. The noise level was interesting in the stone room at the front, not sure I'd want to have a business meeting there as the acoustics weren't great, but a nice atmosphere. Temperature was a little cool in there but better than being too hot and it was 0 degrees outside. Would highly recommend.
