Our chefs hand-select the best seafood (everything from wild salmon and scallops to sustainable farm-raised tuna when available), combining it with authentic Koshihikari rice that’s milled fresh every 3 days for us, real Japanese wasabi, and gluten-free soy sauce that’s custom-brewed to our special standards. Chefs Loi is a master with ingredients like this.

    The absolute BEST cauliflower I’ve ever eaten and I love cauliflower!! Well educated and prepared for gluten free options. The sushi was delicious as well!! So good that I booked another reservation for tomorrow on my way out!!!

    Alexander was wonderful- attentive service and a check in from the manager Sean was so nice! We felt very well taken care of. Food was delicious. We enjoyed the special roll our server informed us of. We can’t wait to return! We love Next Door.

    Another enjoyable evening at Next Door by Wegmans. Food was excellent as always and our server was polite and graceful. Only complaint was the entrées were brought out at different times with large gap in between. Long enough for one to be completely finished before the other showed up.this is the second time in a month this has happened to me.

    Amazing meal! The new space is spectacular and the Japanese style menu is sublime! The robata grill is a wonderful new addition and makes the grilled menu items particularly delightful! We loved the yellowtail ceviche, crunchy salad with wasabi and shaved vegetables, seared salmon and scallop nigiri, cedar wrapped salmon, Tokyo beef tenderloin, Okinawa sweet potato, cauliflower and shisito peppers. The Suntory 22 year whiskey and spicy margarita are both excellent. The mango, guava and raspberry sorbets are also amazing and the perfect sweet end to another lovely evening at Next Door. Thank you so much to the kitchen and floor staff, we love you all!

    My family and I have eaten at this restaurant several times, and we always have a wonderful experience. The ambiance is great, and the food is delicious. My wife especially loves the sushi appetizers, and the ribeye, branzino, and vegetable dishes are always cooked to perfection. The wine list has a great variety of options, and the service is always attentive and friendly. The only downside is that the pricing is on the high end, so we only go here once in a while. But if you're looking for a special occasion restaurant, this is a great choice. We highly recommend it!

    Next door does it again. Food is absolutely delicious and prepared with absolute perfection. My wife and I are frequent visitors and we’re always treated very well. Their recent renovation and changes to the menu are very nice and the seating is noticeably more comfortable. Something very touching happened during this visit. A number of the servers that have taken care of us over so many visits helped bring over the dishes and I swear it was like we were being visited and given a group hug. This was an evening I’ll never forget. The team that works at Next Door by Wegmans is very special and I very much appreciate their sincerity.
