Oishii Boston is located in the South End SOWA district, the most artistic area in Boston. Since 2006 we have been devoted to providing each guest with a memorable dining experience. Our dedicated and knowledgeable staff will help guide you through your culinary journey. Chef Ting San and his team are committed to using their creativity, to transform the freshest ingredients into works of art.     Been to Oishii many times now. Overall experience is good/fair depending on the day. I wouldn’t go there for special occasions since there seems to be less focus on elevating dining experience. Place has much more potential and it’s unfortunate to not live up to it :(

    Appetizers are really amazing. We also love the sake. Maki and sashimi are good. However entrees are not as good as expected. Uni pasta was made of kinda “ramen” noodle which is weird.

    We wanted to love Oishii, but our expectations were too high. There were 4 of us and we ordered a variety of foods ... edamame, rock shrimp tempura, wagyu beef tartare, sliders and ishiyaki, vegetable dumplings and a host of sushi/maki. The edamame and wagyu ishiyaki were the highlights. The sliders were very good, but overcooked. While the food was good, it wasn't great and certainly not worth the $490 price tags (no alcoholic beverages). I wouldn't recommend it.

    Excellent food and service! Never disappoints. The atmosphere is modern, just a bit too dark so it’s hard to read the menus and see the food. Otherwise we love everything about this place. Best sushi and maki in town.

    Spectacular meal! My friend had one of the brunch Bento box offerings and loved it. I had hamachi-Kama (my favorite) and a generous, fresh, delicious California roll. Outstanding service.

    Beautiful restaurant. Staff were super attentive and knowledgeable. Our seats at the sushi counter kept us thoroughly engaged while our food was prepared. Food was fantastic, but just a little pricey. Would go again!
