Palma is nested on quaint Cornelia Street in the heart of Greenwich Village, with a hidden garden filled with fresh flowers in all seasons and a 200-year-old Carriage House for private dining in an elegant yet warm setting. White Stucco walls, beamed ceilings, a salvaged chestnut door & a beautiful garden with ivy-covered walls create an atmosphere where people relax and enjoy life with food and wine. Palma is an organic Italian restaurant, offering a taste of Italian clean food since April 2001. We stay true to generations of our family's cherished recipes and techniques. Our ingredients arrive fresh each day from Palma's garden and local markets. The menu highlights housemade pastas, fresh seafood and seasonal produce.

    We ate at Palma recently for an anniversary dinner. I got a phone call earlier that day from the restaurant asking if they could move our reservation time because their indoor garden had closed (they had actually booked a last minute private event in the garden and so, they were completely overbooked in the standard area now). Once we got there it was clear they wanted us in and out. They took our dishes before we were done eating and hovered over us until we gave a card to pay the bill. Halfway through dinner, there were plenty of open tables and the private party had left. We were pretty confused why they were rushing us. The ambiance was great, food was average, but we felt pretty frustrated by the end of dinner and will likely not be back.

    Dinner was wonderful! Pastas were outstanding , though just wish there had been more pasta in the dish. Very pretty and inviting place. Hope to return.

    The best gluten free Italian restaurant!!! Beautiful environment, the wait staff was very attentive, we got two delicious gluten free complementary desserts as it was our son’s 18th birthday, and the gluten free ravioli and meatballs were perfect. We loved our experience!
