   Came in to New Orleans from Southern California and was looking for an amazing place for a Jazz Brunch. We uber’d out to this place and it was worth every dime. Every drop of the experience was spectacular! Amazing food, atmosphere, service, etc. This place is absolutely amazing!! We happened to catch a local mardi gras parade as well. The entire experience was so wonderful.

   The Jazz Brunch was amazing. There were many many choices of breakfast dishes as well as local favorites like etouffee, gumbo ad shrimp. Drinks were good and the beignet lagniappe was a nice touch.

   We liked the calmer atmosphere of an early lunch. We both enjoyed the eggs Benedict. The service was excellent as is the usual we’ve experienced at Palmettos.

   Party of 3 came to Palmettos for Sunday brunch. Our reservation was for 11:30, and the parking lot was full. But, we were seated quickly. We all got the buffet. Our favorites were the breakfast items, fried station, carving station, and omelet station. We were not impressed with the lunch items. The gumbo was scorched, so only ate one bite. The seafood pasta was cold and lacked flavor. And the mac and cheese was clumpy and also lacked flavor. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and the options were plentiful. But ideally, we'd like to see them improve the quality of some of their offerings.

   Excellent waitress who was very well informed about the menu. We really enjoyed our food, green tomato appetizer, wedge salads, trout almandine and pork parm. We enjoyed the duo that was playing music very much and the atmosphere was nice or a date night. We will be back next time we are in the area.

   i did the buffet brunch. the french toast was hard. the chicken and brisket was cold. the brisket did habe good flavor. the chicken was more like rotisserie than smoked. it wasnt smoked chicken. the bread pudding was ok. place is beautiful. i was upset that the eggs and so many sides had pork or seafood. i dont eat pork or seafood. i didnt notice pork in the eggs until i got back to my table. i think it should be pointed out since it isnt just scrambled eggs. i wasnt able to eat any of the sides or the eggs. music was nice, loved the jazz

    We had a wonderful experience at Palmettos in Slidell. The staff were attentive without being overbearing. The food was excellent—I especially loved the shrimp and grits as well as the crab cakes, both of which were full of flavor. As frequent diners, we were excited to share this favorite spot with out-of-town friends to show them the unique Bayou setting. Palmettos continues to impress with its excellent food, inviting atmosphere, and consistently memorable experiences.
