Stephen Starr's stylish addition to Rittenhouse Square pays tribute to French cafe culture, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, ideal for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. Parc recalls the chic brasseries of Paris, serving classic French fare in a charming space. Red leather banquettes topped with frosted glass provide a sense of intimacy.     Food was good - although the beef bourguignon was really more like pot roast. Service was not good - “auctioned” off the food every time they brought something to the table - they should know where it goes. Sat with dirty salad plate for 15 minutes while bussers whizzed by the table constantly. Dessert arrived without spoons - server ran away before we could even ask. Wouldn’t rush back - seems like they may be trying to ride on their reputation of days gone by rather than put in a true effort anymore. Definitely not up to Starr quality.

    What a memorable brunch with parents from out of town. Our server was terrific - attentive but never hovering, every need anticipated. Celebrated a birthday and enjoyed pastries, quiche, trout, fresh juice and coffee plus champagne and a shared desert. Food was perfection as always and decor festive and cozy. Parc is outstanding and delivers year after year.

    Our server was spot on, friendly, funny and helpful. We love the onion soup and the day after Thanksgiving is a tradition for us. Great spot, wonderful food.

    I like the location. It has a Paris type vibe. There are lots of tables inside. Everyone was very friendly and polite. My waiter was fine. That being said, he did not ask why it was that. I did not finish my meal. I was feeling out of sorts so it wasn’t worth it to get into it as I just wanted to leave. I did not take her to go bag. I took one bite.

    The entrees were tasty as always. However, we had to wait an exceptionally long time for them to come out. Management did comp our entrees to their credit. Our server commented several times that our food should have already been brought out to us long ago. Also, when we got up to leave the busing staff nearly ran to our table to clean it. Everyone in our party hadn’t even gotten up from the table before it was completely cleaned off and wiped down. Pardon the pun, but that left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I felt like I had been very patient through our dining issues and in return, it felt like I was being rushed out of the door. As I said earlier, food is always great but not sure if I’ll be making any return visits after tonight.
