Best French Restaurants in Danville

We love this reliably delicious restaurant. I just wish that this and other restaurants in the area were open later. We were able to go after the symphony this evening only because it was a short concert, but usually the opera and symphony conclude too late for us to have dinner here. I realize restaurants are reluctant to commit to later hours given concerns over demand, but I think the ones in this neighborhood would do better business if they did so. We love to eat in this area after a performance, and this is one of the better options. The food is decadently delicious, the atmosphere is cozy and elegant, and the service has never disappointed. They know what they're doing.

Lovely dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. We sat out on the outdoor patio which was nice and cozy despite the chilly weather that evening. Our server Arlene was friendly and gracious, providing the right level of attentiveness and interaction. The food was delicious as well. I love a good moules frites and the mussels were nice and plump and the fries were perfectly salted. It appeared there were other parties also celebrating birthdays the same night so if you are looking to have a good meal in a nice atmosphere, Reve Bistro is a great choice.

The food was as always excellent. The attentiveness of the staff was good outside of some curious lapses in time when our waitress just seemed to disappear somewhere.

A unique combination of excellent food, efficient and welcoming staff, at a reasonable price. The chef has a real talent for turning out creative dishes that satisfy the most demanding palettes. A real pleasure to dine at this establishment.

Overall great. Champagne was amazing, food was delicious. Service was a bit slow
