Best Wineries in Madeira

My birthday was on the 9th so we were using the birthday credit and also picking up some wine that was in my bullpen. The meal that I ordered was a Chef recommendation of the butternut squash and lobster and shrimp. The sauce was excellent and the meal was delicious. The sauce was so good that I asked for more of the bread to soak it all up and have that to finish off the meal. Then we each ordered a $4.99 truffle and those were a hit to send us home. Wow!!!

Our party of six adults was so satisfied with our delicious dishes! Our table ordered the warm olives and the funghi appetizer (the latter was unimpressive) and then dove into the main courses: Cioppino, gnocchi, branzino, short rib lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, and orrechietti. The tiramisu and the cheesecake were wonderful finishers for the night. Add in some lovely cocktails and a couple of bottles of Valpolicella and it make for a special night.

We all ordered the Thanksgiving special & it was excellent with plenty of turkey & sides. Additionally there was amazing butternut squash soup & pumpkin cheesecake. It was a cold day so I tried the warm white wine and it was really good! All aspects of service was on point.

We decided to let Seasons 52 cook for our small family’s Thanksgiving this year for the second year in a row. We really like how the regular menu is available as well as the traditional Thanksgiving meal, so everyone got to order what they wanted. The Thanksgiving meal was plentiful and delicious and as always so were the other entrees selected. They handled the crowd with efficiency and an abundance of good cheer. And hospitality. We are grateful for the staff giving up their holiday to make ours enjoyable. Thank you all.

Very nice Thanksgiving meal. Ordered off regular menu rather than usual turkey dinner. Tuna tartar was excellent. Great salad with goat cheese. Sliced tenderloin delicious. Nice wine list. Very good service and ambiance.
