Overall experience was fantastic. There was a little hiccup when one of the servers accidentally took our sign that indicated what entrée we were having, and the servers kept walking by us without serving my husband any of the entrée that he selected. However, once we brought it to their attention, they fixed it, and they began to serve him endless supplies of meat for the rest of the night. Food and ambience was fantastic.

This place ALWAYS exceeds my expectations in food, ambiance, and service! Once I met the manager, Jennifer, I understood why. From the personal welcome, to her attention to detail, she makes you feel like you've walked into an establishment that appreciates it's patrons . I'm new to California and the area so it meant so much to receive such a pleasant experience. She is the reason that I now visit this location at least twice a week. Any meeting or visitor coming into town, this is where I take them first!! I can ALWAYS count on Jennifer and her team to provide excellent service. BIG THANKS to Jennifer for your genuine, accommodating spirit and for passing that down to your staff. I was there last night and will be back later this week! Truly authentic and quality Yakitori and Izakaya small plates plus my fav beer, Asahi Super Dry on tap!! The perfectly sized skewers are expertly prepped and grilled…….Hamachi Kama, yellowtail cheek, is another delightful Hasu special that pairs well with sake. You can’t go wrong with Hasu, it’s even better than what I’ve experienced in Japan!’

I have not been back to Hachi in a while due to my schedule, but it was a delight to return and to enjoy the feeling of being in a izakaya again. The food remains at its usual excellent level, although I regret that they have stopped offering the onigiri (grilled rice balls) that were a favorite here in the past. Service is attentive and helpful. It is a little noisy, so perhaps the music could be turned down, especially when the room is full and normal conversational tones have to rise to be heard above the background. We have been to Georgia’s many times over the past few years. It never disappoints. The service is always wonderful and the bartenders are amazing. This is the only bar in the South Bay (besides Hey 19 which the pandemic took away from us), that we truly enjoy. It looks posh inside but is more a laid back atmosphere. Every table outside has a fire pit - sit here to have a relaxed drink with friends or family. Inside is dark, moody and sexy. Definitely more date vibes. There are no bad drinks here. Every drink on their rotating menus has been amazing. Enjoy!
