Joule, the first restaurant from celebrated husband and wife cooking team Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi, is re-located in October, 2012 to the innovative, newly developed the Fremont Collective in Seattle’s Wallingford/Fremont neighborhood. From its original opening in 2007, Joule has cultivated a loyal dining fan base and captured the attention of an admiring local and national media captivated by the couple’s unique, modern perspective on Korean cuisine. Joule, the mature sibling to Yang and Chirchi’s restaurant, Revel, highlights Korea’s love of beef featuring unconventional cuts accompanied by distinctive and shareable side dishes.Joule takes reservations for 1.75-3 hour time slots (depending on party size). As always, San Fermo exceeded expectations. From the ambience to the service to the food, our dinner last night was perfect. Our server also suggested two of their new dishes, the charred onion appetizer and the barley risotto and both were fabulous! Thank you San Fermo for yet another delicious evening! We’ll be back soon!

Everything to love about Blue Glass! We had sumptuous perfectly cooked prime rib and salmon over pasta. Both were beautifully prepared and served with perfect timing. Their Paloma is a fun, strong drink, contributing to our joie de vivre! We will be back.

The rice cakes are a staple and delicious as always, the Muscovy duck was new as was the winter root vegetables, which were both excellent. Don't sleep on the sauces they are each nestled in, it takes these 2 dishes to the next level.

Autumn is not struggling to bring in customers. Every seat was full, as was the bar, and there was a private party in the back room. There was a lot of energy and an overall good vibe. It felt at times that they were running at least one staff member short. There were frequent pile-ups at the check in desk because the host was also functioning as a server. This wouldn't be so bad if there was anywhere to wait, but there isn't (unless you want to wait outside). The food was good - we liked the Brussels sprouts and polenta fries appetizers. The steak that came to the table was under the requested medium. My wife's pasta arrived several minutes after the other entrees and was a little more al dente than she's accustomed to. We didn't send either back since we didn't know how long it would take for them to come back out. We'll still come back to Autumn, but this wasn't their best outing.
