We heard time and time again “It’s all about the dough.” True to Neapolitan tradition, and the passion of the pizzaioli, we construct our pizza using “00” flour from Naples, San Marzano DOP tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, fresh basil, fior di latte or bufala mozzarella, and sea salt. Our dough is gently mixed using a 28 year old “lieveto madre” (natural yeast culture) then with intense heat is baked in our wood burning il forno. I can't say enough good things about this spot. My wife and I had heard great things, but it took us a while to make our way here. I've never had Italian food this good. My wife and I ordered an appetizer, 3 entrees, and dessert, and I swear all of them were equally amazing. Meaning, your eyes roll up in your head when you take your first bite because it's THAT good. Such a wonderful experience. Thank you everyone at Sapori

My husband and I came for our anniversary dinner. The food was excellent. We were blown away! Staff was very friendly and accommodation. They gave excellent recommendations and in summary helped us have a truly special anniversary meal. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I had a party of 9. My daughter is 2yrs old and loves tea parties. We dressed up and had such a good time. My favorite tea is the ginger tea. The staff were wonderful. I will be going back to do the cake decorating. 100% recommend

I met old friends today for lunch and we needed a place in South Orange and just randomly chose this restaurant after doing a Google search for the best restaurants in South Orange. We were absolutely pleasantly surprised because the food was really good and our waitress was even better. Her name was Rain and she was really lovely and helpful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to go back again.
