Best Cosy Restaurants in Steele Creek

The hostess staff was very friendly and sat us promptly. Our server was Sidney and she was amazing, friendly, and attentive. The pull-apart bread was delicious and the wagyu meatballs were great. We had the Caesar and dell salads. Both were fresh and very tasty. We ordered the 16 oz prime ribeyes. Flavor was great but my “medium” came out mostly medium rare. I couldn’t really eat it. Manager comped dessert for us but never came to the table. Was very disappointed that such a premiere steakhouse couldn’t get my steak temp right. $60 steaks should be perfect every time. Everything was excellent. Had to wait longer than expected for table. Arrived 10 min early for 7pm reservation and was told it would be closer to 7 before table was ready. We didnt get seated until 7:25. If they had told me a longer wait, then we would have gone to the bar for drinks. Also, we weren't aware the Valentine "special" got cancelled. I understand it was a supply issue. We actually spent less and had drinks with dinner. No Valentine vibe at all, which would have been nice.

My gf and I got the valentine’s day experience, which was a three course, fixed price dinner option. We both got different things and shared, for a total of 6 dishes and 2 different wines. Literally everything was phenomenal, I’ve been to multiple high end restaurants in my life, including those with Michelin stars, and this was perhaps the best dinner I’ve ever had. Our server, wish I could remember his name, was super charismatic and funny but also incredibly attentive, a real professional. My only singular complaint was the noise level, but that’s mostly because we had an obnoxiously loud party next to us, it was tough to talk with them around but once they wrapped up and left, which was unfortunately at the dessert course, the atmosphere was perfect. Still, we both would rate this a 10/10 experience, I really wasn’t expecting it to be good, I went in with low expectations because most restaurants in Charlotte are middling, but this place is one of the very few worth revisiting.

Roosters is consistently great. The service is wonderful, the atmosphere is cozy, and the menu has something for everyone. With quality wine & unique cocktails, the bar area has a cool view of the kitchen & a laid back vibe. They offer outstanding sides; the potatoes au gratin are a must, but you should pick several options to share with the table! The salads are always fresh & dressed to perfection. I personally think they serve the best scallops in Charlotte, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

We were served by Perry at 5pm when the restaurant opened. He was very attentive, didn’t rush our orders and quickly picked up that we were from the UK. He was good with recommendations, humour and helping us have an overall good experience! Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Shout out Perry!
