Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Gulfport

It was very cold in the restaurant and the food could’ve been warmer

Wonderful little bistro. Fresh ingredients. Different than most anywhere on the coast. A diamond in the rough! A hidden gem! Lovely service. Decent wine selection, better than most anywhere around. On the Mississippi Coast, I’d say there really isn’t much like it.

It was my first time at Sapphire, and I'll certainly be back. The service was impeccable (my server was Donna). The hostess, Sonita, was also wonderful. With one exception, the food was outstanding... hot, savory and delicious! The bread was very dry, almost stale. I'm assuming a rare outlier, as everything else was absolutely amazing! I loved the ambiance and entertainment... right out of the 30's - 60's. What a blast! Spencer Racca performed that evening, and my wife and I enjoyed his crooning and singing very much. He's quite charming, personable, and engaging. The evening was a bit on the pricy side, but considering the quality of the food, service, and entertainment, it comes as no surprise. I would recommend Sapphire to anyone who enjoys the sound of the big band and crooners era, although there was quite a variety of types of music and song from days gone by as well. What a fun, fun evening!

Great food. Didn’t have to wait for a table. Food came out quick. Service was fantastic. We had Fried Green Tomatoes, shrimp and grits Benedict, and shrimp étouffée omlette. Everything was delicious.
