Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Central Saanich

We tried Wildlight for this first time to host a guest speaker in our department for dinner. We were a party of 8. The table service was attentive and prompt, with excellent attention to guest issues such as allergies and dietary preferences. The food, when it arrived, was delicious: original, creative combinations of ingredients showing excellent technique and good flavour. We all appreciated the highlighting of local ingredients. However, the food was very slow to come out of the kitchen. We arrived around 7:30, and did not receive our main dishes until almost 9:00. The kitchen was obviously backed up, even though it was a weeknight and the restaurant was not full. I would recommend Wildlight for creative cuisine using local ingredients, but be prepared to wait... and wait... and wait.

Absolutely exceptional sushi, our favourite restaurant in Vancouver. Amazing staff and service, and the quality of the sushi is outstanding. A+!!

The servers are very friendly and a slice cake with greeting note is a thoughtful idea for guests to celebrate special occasion. Indoor ambience has nice lighting and decoration; hopefully, outdoor patio can have more warmth lighting.

My husband and I had lunch today. Food arrived quickly and was well presented and served. As usual it tasted very good. Service was great with the waiters constantly filling our water glasses. Although we have been many times it is still nice to hear about the different sauces.
