Best Restaurants with Great Beer in Shelter Island / San Diego Bay

The service and the staff were excellent! We were constantly being greeted and checked on, and the staff was very friendly. The ambiance was beautiful and the food was exceptional and not heavy in our stomachs. Loved it!

Beautiful historic venue with views of San Diego Bay from almost every table. The views- continually changing from catamarans to Aircraft carriers. History- the dining room is in the shape of the State of California. The beacon of light has been shining on the bay for almost 100 years. It is maintained by the Coast Guard. Food- delicious and beautifully presented. We had mussels, fried oysters, grilled peppers, beet salad, and the Yellow tail fish. We were pleased with all of our selections. You can also order seafood individually. Server Alicia was quite informative and attentive. Thank you for a pleasingly memorable afternoon/evening.

Great location, amazing views, cool overall vibe, food was delicious and flavorful plus friendly service. It was a great spot for early dinner after picking up visiting family at the airport. Metered parking wasn’t too bad of a hassle. And you get to walk and enjoy the sunset view from the harbor Will definitely come back and catch up some more at ketch !
