- EEmilievipDenver / Colorado •17 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoBar and Board is in a key location for a Saturday. night in Newport., right on the main drag. We had gone to a movie at the Jane Pickens theater and wanted to walk to dinner. Our reservations was for 7:00. When we entered there were many empty tables so we had the staff's full attention. We had a nice table on the ground floor but two seats were leaning against a cold stone wall - it was a windy night and the wall was a bit drafty. We ordered a bottle of wine and a few appetizers - delicious, oysters were okay, Brussel sprouts very good. Main courses were hearty portions, I could have shared. my bolognese with another person, others did share the pork chop. The wait staff was very attentive, the food arrived in a timely manner and the atmosphere kicked up as groups of people arrived - espresso martinis were their drink of choice!!! We would all go back to B&B another time - good food, great service and an okay wine list. Just what we wanted on a chilly, windy night.More infoBar and BoardPrice: Expensive• American• Newport•4.3
- OTOpenTable DinerWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAs a avid high tea goer this was great. The scones were perfect and along with the smoked salmon! The service was great as well. I wish there was a little more variety of tea though. I will be going back next time I am in town.More infoSailor's Tea Hour at The VanderbiltPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Newport•4.2

- MMichaelvipGreater Boston •11 reviews4.0Dined on 1 Nov 2024I’m a local , attend the Reef often for brunch and dinner in all seasons throughout the year . Mostly we enjoy it - last night was a little off . Ambience was off - bright lights / all table party’s crammed next to each other even though there were open tables throughout the restaurant . The food was off / first was told no lobster tails / then told they found some - found some ? And they were dark in color and not great . The statler chicken was good and always a tasty staple - but sweet potatoes were cold not cooked all the way . I thought our waitress was very good even though our coffee was forgotten . I don’t usually mind paying a price if it’s worth it last night was not a great night at the Reef .More infoThe ReefPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Newport•4.3
