Best Live Music Restaurants in Costa Mesa

My grandson and I had a great dinner on Saturday night. We had a reservation for 6:30 pm and we were seated after a short wait. Boy, did it get busy after that! It seems like Saturday night had a number of couples celebrating Valentine’s Day a day late. Great food, great service (in a very busy restaurant), a good live band and good vibes all night long.

Vitaly Caffe is a fantastic spot with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The coffee is rich and flavorful, and the pastries are delicious. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making every visit a pleasant experience. Whether you're stopping by for a quick espresso or a relaxing afternoon, Vitaly Caffe is the perfect place to enjoy a tasty treat in a lovely setting. Highly recommended!

I flew in from Arcata for dinner reservations for Valentine with the Mrs. We are staying at the Westin next door. Easy walk to WG. The hostess was amazing, we were seated within 5 min of our rezo and near the Jazz musician. Our waiter was Brandon, amazing experience! We had spent Valentines 2024 WG at oyster bar. This evening rather than order off the menu we wanted to try the 4 course. I don’t have a lot of experience in fine dining and 4 courses with wine pairing. Brandon was very helpful with sharing how the menu would be served this evening. The Mrs she’s used to fine dining but for an island boy from Samoa it was a new experience for me. Amazing experience and for those who may have not experienced fine dining 4 course with wine pairing just ask the your wait person for help. I’m never afraid to ask if I do not know. The fork thing, the many utensils, the different glasses, etc 😂 Definitely will plan a dinner outing for the entire family, 12 total, this summer when I’m back in town. Had a nice Valentine's Day Dinner at Bayside on the 14th. Gwendolyn was our server and very nice and professional. We had the prefix menu at $135 a person. My wife started with the Cesar salad and I had the crab cake. We both had tequilla drinks. For our main entree my wife had the Sea Bass and I had the Salmon. Both dishes were very good. The music was amazing with the trio playing some awesome tunes. For desert we had a coffee and both the flour less chocolate cake and the strawberry shortcake. A nice meal, Valet parking and we felt the love in the air. Recommended

Mastros is always a special place to celebrate our wedding anniversary ❤️ Dave and BJ were amazing, and our food, as always, was delicious. My husband ordered a double cut porkchop, and he said it was the best and most tender he's ever had. It was large enough for two. You can't beat the service you get there. Thank you for our special buttercake dessert and the 2 chocolate dipped strawberries 🍓 . We will be back.
