Best Live Music Restaurants in Portola Valley

We loved the food but I think the chocolate chip cookie dessert wasn’t completely dairy free as they suggested since I felt discomfort after so reducing one star

The food, drinks and service were excellent, and prices, reasonable. Our waitress was well-informed, helpful, charming and attentive. She made our dining experience even more special.

Nice place. Elegant and the staff were all welcoming courteous professional and friendly including the bartender We had the octopus and meatball for appetizers rack of lamb and the Wagyu beef steak especially . Everything was good except the Wagyu beef steak. Wagyu beef is supposed to be soft and melts in your mouth. This one didn’t. Hard to slice and we ordered medium rare. Dessert proliferates was good. Service from our server great but she forgot to give us plates though she knew we were sharing. Apart from that she was great and friendly. Good experience over all.

We have never experienced a better night out. Everyone from the host greeting us with a warm smile to David the manager introducing himself and offering his services as needed to our excellent server Hannah was a top notch employee. We felt like royalty as they took such great care of us. The food, the service and the atmosphere were all better than we could have dreamed of. You have to have the smoking manhattan from the bar. It was so tasty and the present was superb. If you are fortunate enough to have Hannah serving you, I promise you will have the best waitress in the business. We eat out often and over the 3 decades of doing so, I have never seen anyone better at what they do. We can’t wait to go back.

Our server - who has been at Left Bank for a long time, was simply fabulous. They even brought my lunch companion a birthday cake with a candle. Everything was very good (expensive, however, but that is getting to be the norm).
