Best Live Music Restaurants in Battle Ground

Dining area was draped off from the bar area which was a unique way to section the two areas. Noise could still be heard from the bar. However we were seated by the door and despite the efforts to keep the cold out my wife was could through our dinner. I appreciate the effort to section off the cold but it was still a bother. Food was good but the Pork Oso Buccu I was looking forward to ordering ran out. The ravioli was a good substitute so perhaps an earlier reservation to get full options from the menu might be needed.

We went to Wilf's after a long absence and was delighted to find it just as wonderful as I remembered. Although there are newer items on the menu, all of my old favorites were there. We had the French onion soup, rich and spectacular, and the Caesar salad. Prepared table side, the Wilf's version has my vote as the best Caesar in Portland, particularly if you like them garlicky (which I do). For entrees, I had the prime rib, and my friend had the Steak Diane, the latter also prepared table side. Both were perfect. (Check out the You Tube video for how to make Wilf's Steak Diane; it tided me over during the pandemic.) As always, the service was excellent; friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. Located in the old Union Train Stations, Wilf's restaurant is beautiful and spacious. We sat in the dining room, but it is all really one large room. We could hear the live jazz music playing in the bar area but it was still quiet enough to have a good conversation. All in all, delightful.

We dined on a Friday night, and there was a concert in the Ballroom. hey were turning people away. Some restaurants would rush your meal to maximize the number of diners they serve. We had a very relaxed, unrushed meal. The waitress was superb, and the food was delicious, as always.

We went to Michael Jordan's Steakhouse for our daughter's 16th birthday. Our experience was excellent. Our waitress, Kathy, was personable and attentive. She even took a picture of the family for us afterwards. The food was phenomenal as well. The steaks were cooked as ordered and the flavor was delicious. The garlic bread with the cheese fondue dip is to die for. They even brought us extra cheese fondue. The mac-n-cheese is smokey goodness. Unfortunately, our daughter left her driver's permit at the table and we got a phone call informing us that they would have it waiting for us. Stellar customer service even after we left.
