    we had a fantastic experience, and the food was really good. our server was really kind and brought us ice cream with a candle and an astrology book where we can look up our birthdays. those small details make dining so fun thank you for an incredible experience. The duck meatballs and the tortilla was my favorite

    Another wonderful experience at Frances! It had been at least 7 years since our last trip and it was every bit as good as we remembered. We started off with a cocktail (Negronis), and then had the Winter Fruits, Sourdough Bread and Beignets to start. Each was delicious although I would say the beignets are closer to hush puppies than beignets…still delicious however. For mains we had the risotto and the wagyu skirt. The steak was good but know when they say “medium rare” it’s closer to rare! The risotto was awesome, the peas were crisp and I thought it was the better of the two dishes. To wrap it all up we got the lumberjack cake and the Mousse torte. The cake was the highlight! Service was great, attentive, energetic and kind! Such a great spot among a wealth of amazing OG restaurants in SF.

    Our meal was fresh and flavourful, the 7 course tasting menu was great to try a variety of Turkish and Mediterranean dishes. Servers were extremely attentive and accomodating, I never had to wait for a water refill or look around for help. The atmosphere was elevated and vibrant, I’ll be back soon!
