Best Restaurants with Bar Seating in Midtown / Uptown

I had a wonderful dinner date at Bar Vendetta last night. The service was excellent—the staff was incredibly kind and attentive throughout the evening. Our food arrived at the perfect pace, allowing us to enjoy each dish without feeling rushed. Although we didn’t get to try the cocktails, the pasta and small plates were outstanding, with just the right balance of flavors and seasoning. The ambiance was fantastic—from the beautifully decorated walls to the cozy seating, every detail added to the experience. The only thing that could be improved is the music selection, which didn’t quite enhance the atmosphere as much as it could. A more curated playlist could elevate the mood even further. Overall, it's a great spot for a date or a night out, and I’d definitely come back!

A delightful experience - great food and wonderful service!

Great dining experience staff was so friendly went on Monday which is happy hour so oysters were a steal at $2 a pop and they were amazing. Lus Basicly half prices drinks all night. Highly recommend, the food was very good not top tier but very good. And the mains are fairly priced but maybe a bit bigger portions for the price. But all in all it was great experience highly recommend.

Lulu Bar was a fantastic choice for a girls’ night out! We ordered several dishes to share and everything was delicious! Our favourites were the Burger, the charred cabbage and kale salad! Drinks were also very tasty! Services was fantastic and the restaurant was actually such a pretty place! Being at the north end of the Well was convenient for all of us!

My husband and I just wanted to find a place to try out this Michelin restaurant while traveling from Montreal to Toronto, but every dish ended up amazing me.
