Inspired by the wood-fired Robata grills of Japan, Mizu offers a refreshed take on live-fire cooking atop the Hyatt Centric in the heart of Charlotte’s SouthPark neighborhood.     Made last minute reservations and they were able to get us in. We were seated right away in a busy area but we still were able to have normal conversation and enjoy the time together. We had Mussels in Red Sauce that were nice and garlicky. Mussels cooked perfectly. Side Ceasar salad which was just enough and didn’t fill me up. Then the main dishes of Seafood over Squid Ink pasta for my wife and Short rib Ravioli for me. Both dishes were wonderful. On to the Canoli and Cappucinio for dessert. Spot on again! Our server was attentive, very pleasant but not hovering. We asked for our food to served slowly so we could enjoy conversation. Boom. Done. We have been to Zinicola multiple times now and it never dissapoints.

    We were celebrating our birthdays and we had ivy as our waiter he was absolutely amazing and also John was amazing We were given complimentary wine and it was just the nicest gesture!!’ Thank you for making our dinner special

    We had a great time. The place is beautiful, environment lively. We often had to flag down servers for an order or bill, but they were kind and friendly when they were there. Highly recommend.
