- AAnnaNew York City •13 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoWe are frequent patrons of Eataly, both for shopping as well as the restaurants. We enjoy Birreria and appreciate the various seasonal pop-ups. Drinks at the bar are very pleasant and bartenders are personable and friendly. The menu in the Serra restaurant is unique and tries to reflect the Aloine theme. My main peeve is that canederli are $34 (crazy high price) as opposed to the branzino which is $35 (usual price). Note: canederli are mostly day-old bread and speck and very easy to prepare.. I ordered them knowing the price, because properly made canederli are hard to find outside of Italy. They were tasty. Not authentic but, yes, they were tasty. I just find the price surprising and out of line. My Italian family in Trentino Alto-Adige would be flabbergasted! Just my opinion. All in all, I was happy to see canederli on the menu.More infoSerra by Birreria - Eataly NYC FlatironPrice: Expensive• Italian• Gramercy Park•4.2
