Inspired by bold designs of the Roarin 20’s and Art Deco 30’s, Chase Club at the historic Chase Park Plaza Hotel invokes the original spirit of times past. As Prohibition ended, the pendulum swung back to indulging & entertainment (Live Music, Great Food and Free Flowing Alcohol). Influenced by the Speakeasys and extravagant style of a bygone era, the concept for Chase Club was born. Chase Club features a well crafted gastro-pub menu, a huge bar, a dining area with large adjoining patio overlooking the Chase Park Plaza pool, and even a outdoor fireplace with seating area to keep you toasty on chilly nights. Big screen TVs and plush seating provide the perfect lounging atmosphere for an afternoon or evening of sports. Chase Club evokes an easier time with big style design, quality food and drink, and lively bands every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. Enjoy brunch favorites every Saturday and Sunday!

We went to the Chase Club for Valentine's Day. We were seated quickly but it took our server a long time to come take our drink order. By then, we were ready to order our entire meal, which included an appetizer, soups, and the main course. It then took an overly long time to receive the food, which all came at the same time. What? Why weren't we served the appetizer first, then the soups, then the main course? The food was fine. My chicken breast entry was good and my husband thought the meat loaf was delicious. We decided against dessert, since we weren't sure how long that would take. Will we come back. At this point, we aren't sure.

Wow, I wish I could give this place 10 stars. My boyfriend and I were visiting St. Louis for the weekend and we were recommended to come here. To say we loved it feels like an understatement. I had asked to be seated in a quieter section and they happily accommodated. The ambience was perfection: jazz and dim lighting…music wasn’t too loud. Our server Zach, gave us great menu recommendations. We ordered the French onion soup to share as our appetizer and it was incredible. We got the chicken dish and braised beef…absolutely phenomenal. For dessert, we had a hard time deciding between the chocolate mousse and the cream puffs. The kitchen gifted us the cream puffs (absolute angels). Also, the espresso martini was the best I’ve ever had. Overall, 11/10 experience. I’ll be dreaming of the desert for a while. Thank you to the kind hostess and server and staff who all made us feel so special and taken care of!

The Crossing continues to be an excellent choice for fine dining in St. Louis. The food and service are excellent. The night we were there it was somewhat noisier than past visits due to several large tables of men some of whom spoke and laughed loudly throughout the evening. When they left it was pleasant. I think the British are right when they say Americans do not know how to speak quietly at the dinner table.
