Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in University Circle

We celebrated my MILs birthday with a lovely dinner here. The staff were incredible kind and attentive. The food was fabulous! Such a cute place. We will definitely return.

Very very nice restaurant The service was excellent…friendly efficient and server knowledgeable. Food delicious! The only comment I have is (and the server warned us) they are a steakhouse but my son ordered pasta and the serving was extremely small and not inexpensive. Would like to see larger portioned non-meat entrees on the menu.

My guests and I were extremely pleased with our dining experience. From beginning to end everything was top shelf quality service- the greeter opening the door, the gentleman at the desk ,our server was very polished and knowledgeable about the meal courses for the evening , the pairing of the wines chosen for each course definitely matched perfectly. The decorum was inviting and warm, the table setting very nice and the fireplace was lit which made it a nice and warm evening.

This was my first experience at The South Side. I chose it because it was the only restaurant in the area that had reservations available at the time I needed them. It is now a place that I will choose in the future and recommend to friends. The hostess was welcoming, the service was great, the food was delicious. I loved the wide variety on the menu with some Cleveland favorites. Initially, we were worried about the noise level, but we were seated in a back room that was perfect for relaxed conversation.
