Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu. Many of Screen Doors dishes draw their inspiration from Louisiana and the Cajun cooking that's found there. These include our world-famous fried chicken, Lowcountry shrimp and grits, smoked andouille chicken gumbo and fried okra.     We haven’t been for awhile and Lechon was and is still one of the best restaurants and experiences. Food and drinks were amazing and service was 1000 percent worth going out and reminds you that old school good service while eating out still exists.

    Everything we ate was amazing and the ambiance was really fun. The service started really good but then our waiter kind of disappeared on us for long stretches, so that was a bit of a bummer. Still, would go back again in a heartbeat

    Probably the best food and cocktails in Portland. That is saying a lot. Gorgeous ambiance and very good service. Highly recommend the lychee martini and scallops. Creative, high level flavors and presentations. Only dings are the menu on QR codes or flimsy unreadable paper. So, phone lights going on all over the tables. Also, the corkage fees exceed NYC, ($120 for 2 bottles) so we passed on our favorite bottles saved for birthday celebration from home cellar.

    Our meal at Tartuca was the best we’ve had in a while! This neighborhood spot does Italian pasta like none other in Portland. Service was warm and well attentive and the food was phenomenal. We recommend ordering off the extensive wine list. Jeff, the manager, is very knowledgeable and made us recommendations to pair with our meal. We will be back!
