Best Family Style Restaurants in Waimānalo

The place is simply amazing… decoration was on point, low lighting, rose petals over the seats and tables, jazz player on balcony and even a fire dancer. The drinks were delicious with a fancy presentation. We order the truffle risotto with shaved truffle (table side) on top… fully recommend it. We also ordered the veal chop with potato gratin… out of this world, tender, juicy and very flavorful. Overall this was a 10/10 experience, the staff was very friendly and the way they pull off the experience is very unique. Clark (owner) was very attentive and made us feel like family. Will be going back, they set the bar for a special occasion extremely high! Bravo Gaslamp! You got something amazing going on!!!

Perfectly seasoned and delicious food! We actually enjoyed it more than the Kahala location. Will be back on another Friday night to catch the fireworks again. Great night!

Great experience! The hospitality from the hostess, server and staff was wonderful. This was our first time to dine at Morimoto Asia, and our server Joe was attentive and knowledgeable, and made experience even better for our Anniversary. Thank you!

Every dish and cocktail tasted amazing! Many of the cocktails are on the sweeter side, which I love, but they might not be for those who prefer less sweet drinks. The daily specials or off-menu items were a bit hard to remember, and my parents, who don’t speak English, couldn’t understand them. But in the end, it didn’t matter because everything tasted great! They timed the à la carte and main dish perfectly, and the atmosphere inside was nice and comfortable. The prices aren’t cheap, but I think you get what you pay for—and it was totally worth it. I highly recommend this place and am adding Kapa Hale to my list of favorite restaurants!

Love the decor and we’re happy we were able to moved to a banquette table v the middle row. Very appreciative of that thoughtfulness. Loved the variety of salads and the bread-delicious ! Enjoyed the branzino entree and the dessert was so yummy. The wine pairing was spot on!
