Best Casual Restaurants in Hudson

We arrived about 30min early for our reservations and they gladly greeted and seated us without any hesitation. The ambiance was beautiful, the waiters were pleasant and they checked in frequent enough to make sure we were good but not overly intrusive to interrupt our night. Highly recommend and will be going back.

We arrived to find the restaurant very crowded and we waited at the bar for about 20 minutes for our table. It was Valentines Day and so a wait was to be expected. The staff and particularly the Barr tender was extremely friendly and personable. Food was ample and choices varied. I had capellini in white clam sauce with a bit of bacon and kalamata olives. It was delicious. My husband had linguine puttanesca and was also pleased with the dish. Check it out.

We ate at Lager and Vine on Valentines. It was very busy. We were seated a few minutes before our reservation and enjoyed a well-crafted culinary experience! The food was all prepared perfectly - from the soups, seared tuna to the pork chops everything contributed to a wonderful celebration. Even on a busy holiday, the noise level was moderate... much better than most contemporary restaurants. Will definitely return!

So glad I booked a table for a late Valentine's lunch! The potato corn chowder with lobster soooo good!! Was tempted to order another one "to go"! The Caprese salad was yummy as well and enough to share. Perfect ending with a scrumptious chocolate mousse! Service attentive and the dinning room bright with sunshine at the time we dined. Perfect Valentine's Day dinning experience!!!

My girlfriends, son, and I dined at 56 Tavern last night. As always, the 56 kitchen group did not disappoint! The atmosphere is breathtaking with fabulous new decor and remodeling in the restaurant area. Our waitress, Lexi, was adorable, attentive, and so sweet! The manager, Brad, and hotel owner, Franz, checked on us regularly! The food was delicious! We all could have eaten ten plates of the cauliflower bites! Overall, we all had a spectacular experience at 56 Tavern, and will be dining there again in the near future❤️❤️❤️
