- JJeanRhode Island •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoEvery part of our Thanksgiving meal was truly Outstanding. We usually eat out on Thanksgiving and it was the best restaurant we have eaten at. The salad was delicious, the entre portion was generous, and the apple crisp was not too sweet that you could taste the apples. The server was polite and attentive. I am definitely going to make my reservations for Thanksgiving 2024.More infoRed StripePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Providence•4.5

- DDeanvipGreater Boston •34 reviews5.0Dined on 25 Nov 2024Happy to welcome Tavern in the Square to this neighborhood especially since there are not many sit down restaurants of quality in the area. Great service, comfortable seating and energetic lively staff, customers and music with a clean atmosphere albeit a little minimalist in decor in for my taste . Food was well prepared and presented as I have come to expect from this successful restaurant group, with very generous food portions. Looking forward to possibly seeing the exterior front area with the windows open up to the spacious sidewalk which is lined with tall fire torches utilized for seasonal outdoor dining . We split a full size Chopped Greek salad as a starter which was perfectly prepared and deliciously dressed in a zesty lemon tahini dressing with a hint of refreshing mint. We both chose the Blackened Bacon & Blue Burgers, medium done , his with a big portion of crispy fries and mine their very excellent Tots. Burgers were juicy, nicely seasoned and well constructed so they had the perfect quantity of toppings without being messy. Cocktails were beautifully blended and balanced. Looking forward to future visits!More infoTavern in the Square - AttleboroPrice: Expensive• American• Attleboro•4.6
- DDonnavipGreater Boston •7 reviews5.0Dined on 11 Nov 2024Excellent evening tonight celebrating The Splendor of Florence at Osteria Toscana hosted by Armando Bisceglia and two visiting chefs from Italy. The pop up venue was warm and inviting and proved to be a perfect backdrop for the delectable food that is being offered during this special event. We began with pasta and bean soup that was a throwback to having a warm, comforting bowl of soup as a child in an Italian household. Then I selected the fettuccine bolognese-which is the Best I have ever had. I simply did not want to finish the dish because side I was enjoying each forkful so much. Richard had the gnocchi-each one was a pillow of tenderness nestled in a truffle cream sauce that melted in your mouth. Our entrees of eggplant parmigiana and osso bucco were hearty and delicious and proved to be two perfect rustic Tuscan selections. At the end of this epic meal we had cookies with a dessert wine. Everything tied together seamlessly and we truly had The Splendor of Florence experience💖. Let’s not forget the Wine Window-such an authentic touch! We loved getting our wine and toasting to this fantastic evening.More infoOsteria Toscana - ProvidencePrice: Moderate• Italian• Providence•4.1
