Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Fort Myers Beach

The men had the lamb shank as part of the early bird special and both loved it. My husband brought a quarter home for his dinner tonight. My friend had the fried shrimp which she loved and I had the horseradish crusted Cod. I also ordered as an extra the appetizer of wedge salad which my husband and I loved. The only part of meal that was disappointing was the Brussels Sprouts. It was ordered by my friend who often cooks them at home with just olive oil and Salt and pepper. She thought that the prep of the Sprouts had a funny flavor. Otherwise I would have given a 5 star rating to the food.

My wife and I love Il Pomodoro! We come here when we are in Florida from Chicago. The selection of both apps and entrees is wide, and the food is perfectly delicious. The wine list is also more than adequate and all prices are very reasonable. We both had pasta fagioli to start, which was uniquely great. My wife had chicken/spinach cannelloni and I had tortellini carbonara as our mains. Huge portions and both were fantastic! The ambience is warm and cozy, and the service impeccable. Our server, Alicia, was so nice, and attentive, efficient and friendly. We will continue to dine here when we are in town!
