Best Steak Restaurants in Newark

It was raining. A manager meet us with umbrellas outside One friend was ushered in as she was using a walker and I used the other brought out to me to help the other 88 year old friend. We were ushered to the table chairs were pulled out for us to be seated!! Never have I felt so cared about. The hospitality was amazing! There is a tranquility and peace in the eloquent but casual environment overlooking the harbor and water On one wall separating the bar from the dining area is a huge aquarium where jellyfish float aimlessly The food served for lunch was excellent ! I am totally biased as I may have been to Sundance over 500 times over the last 20 years, but this is the most consistent restaurant at which I have ever dined. The staff is incredible, the food is very good and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The level of care they have for their customers is really unparalleled! I am a big fan and hope all will enjoy Sundance too.

Best filet mignon! Friendly waitstaff and excellent service. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal!

We enjoyed dinner (4 of us) for my wife's birthday on a Saturday night. Everything was exceptional. Our waiter, Rene, was new and we were very impressed with him. His suggestions on menu items were spot on and he checked on us regularly without being overbearing . We were all very pleased with our dinners (swordfish, miso salmon, chicken piccata, sea bass). The sea bass came with melted butter on a sizzling cast iron dish that kept the fish hot down to the last morsel - delicious. Market Broiler has always been a favorite place but this visit was exceptional. We will return and hope Rene is again our waiter.

Excellent service and great price for wine pairing dinner. Will definitely recommend and return.
