Best Authentic Restaurants in Maalaea

We had an amazing dinner last night at Humuhumunukunukuapua’a. Our server Jonathan was very attentive and made some great drink suggestions. We thoroughly enjoyed our venison and ahi carpaccio appetizers. Our main meals included the catch of the day, snapper and filet- all very good. Finished our meal with the delightful mud pie and espresso martinis. Wonderful meal and we were very happy with our entire experience.

We had the best time tonight, can’t stop shaking my head in awe. From the beginning, being greeted, with the floor to ceiling drapes opening, showing us to our table. The beautiful sofas, chairs, artwork were impressive. Then our experience truly began with our hands washed in warm water, being given Moroccan kaftan and fez to dress into (which our friends, boyfriend and I gladly got into!) to the delicious, affordable 6-course meal and the outstanding belly dancer just made our evening to remember. We felt like we were in another country! Tonight is my boyfriend’s birthday and we are so glad that we went to Le Bazaar! We would and we will go there again. Everyone has to go! Cannot say enough great things about our evening! Thank you for the impressive service and memorable evening!

We had a great time at Matteo’s. We were early for our reservation and they accommodated us right away. Our server Michael was amazing and our food was perfect. The overall service and atmosphere was spot on. We plan to be back before we finish this vacation!

Loves every minute of our visit to MonkeyPod. Seated immediately on the side patio. Jess greeted us and brought us 3 Mai tais and a whiskey sour - delicious! Then we shared a Gem Salad and a Brocli Salad - both delicious but the Brocli was so unique we all agreed it was the best. Fish Tacos, Fish and Chops and Macademia Nut encrusted Mahi Mahi we all excellent but my Rib Eye was over the top. Cooked to perfection. We had a bottle of Tempranillo which paired well with everything and topped it all off with Banana Cream pie. Would recommend the entire meal all over again. Jess was an excellent waitress!

Family out for midweek dinner. Sat outside on patio, comfortable breeze, attractive setting with barrier to parking lot. We chose the grilled chicken mole diner and burrito dinner. Both excellent. There mole sauce is outstanding and the chicken tender and tasty. Beers on tap with chilled mugs. Waitstaff very attentive.
