Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Waterfront / Belltown

I consider myself a pretty hard-core "foodie", and Terra Plata is my favorite restaurant for great food, great service, and great vibes in Seattle. Tonight we had a group of 13 for dinner before a show at the Paramount Theater. Our server was attentive and did a perfect job of pacing tje food to get us out the door at the preferred time. I let him choose our courses, and he wisely asked questions around the table about preferences and restrictions before sending out an amazing selection. The food was stellar, as is the norm for Terra Plata. After we finished, I had THREE of my guests come to me to tell me that it was one of the best meals they had ever eaten. Terra Plata really is that good! The Brussels sprouts are a personal favorite and everyone agreed that they were amazing. But there wasn't a single dish that was less than a 5/5 experience. Other highlights were the confit lamb riblets, beef cheek gnocchi, and blistered shishito peppers. If you go to Terra Plata as a group, try ordering family-style so you can taste more options.

We had a wonderful time. The ravioli and fettuccine were amazing. You have to try the chocolate tart as well. We will definitely be back!

Everyone commented that the food was very good. We really enjoyed our time there and will go again. Our server was very friendly and the service was good. I wish I had room for dessert, but the portions were great and I just could not fit it. :)

The selection of meat was good and came by in good intervals. The best I felt were the Parmesan Pork Loin, Peppered Steak, Tri Tip and I REALLY enjoyed the Grilled Pineapple. Salad bars was good and had a nice variety of items. My only concern was they automatically included a 20% gratuity and it was only 2 of us. We were not told this would be automatically added.

It was my first time going to the restaurant. My friends and I really enjoyed the food. I had the smoked salmon Benedict, which was really yummy. The eggs were poached perfectly, and the salmon and hollandaise were great. My only comment on that dish would be that the potatoes were kind of boring and seemed barely even seasoned. I also got the ham and cheese crepe to take home. I thought it was really tasty, not dry. Overall pretty good. I did think the diced, little cubes of ham was an odd choice for cutting the meet, but the flavor was the there. Also found out this place does cabaret shows. TL;DR: I will be coming back for additional brunches, and now I really want to do dinner and a show here too.
