Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Niwot

Jax is an outstanding restaurant . The food and service were superb. My wife is especially picky about the freshness of fish and the way it is cooked. She raved about her Cod dish. I had a Tuna dish that was very tasty . The asparagus was notable in that thin stalks were chosen and cooked to perfection. The waiter was attentive, but not overbearing. All sauces were delicious .

Jason was fantastic. Explained everything well. Great sense of humor! Very good at working the table. Drinks never went empty. Good at getting to the table to ask if we ever needed anything. One of the better wait staff I have ever had in my life. Made the experience top notch. Hard to find great people that take pride in their work like this.

What a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner. Outstanding service by Will who was very helpful in recommending creative cocktails and wine, and all the servers who delivered piping hot dishes to our table. The meal was excellent from the bread selection, both savory and sweet, through the four course fixe prix menu. We sat in the cozy and welcoming dining area where we could watch the chefs creating the dishes and we loved it. Lovely night. We will definitely be returning to this gem.

Always a good meal to be had at The Post. Enjoyed crispy cauliflower off the happy hour menu along with drinks. For dinner, she had the fried half chicken with mashed potatoes; I had the roasted half bird (no gravy) with collard greens. Both were very good. (She prefers white meat, I prefer dark…so our leftovers provided both of us another meal the next day!) We shared a chocolate whoopie pie for dessert. Great local restaurant and craft brewery that has always been one of our favorites. We especially enjoy the outdoor patio in the summertime!

First visit to Via Toscana. It was an awesome experience. The food was fantastic. The service was outstanding. We will be regulars.
