Best Restaurants for Groups in Parkland

I took my friend here for her birthday. It’s been so many years since I have been to City Fish Market. We started with drinks. She had Prosecco and I had a watermelon martini. Drinks were good. We didn’t order any appetizers. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass which came over spinach, jasmine rice and an oriental sauce. I thought it was just okay. I wouldn’t order it again. My friend hit the jackpot when she ordered the Alaskan King Crab legs. They cracked them open for her which was great. They gave her 2 large crab legs which had so much meat on them. She could only eat one so she gave me the other one. It was so tender and so delicious. She ordered sides of Cole slaw and sweet potato mashed potatoes. I tasted the sweet potatoes and they were excellent. They bought out a piece of chocolate mousse cake for her birthday but she was so full so she took it home with her. They didn’t charge for the cake which I thought was so nice. Our waiter was excellent and the ambience was beautiful . Will definitely be going back. Definitely worth the money.

Overall very nice restaurant. Menu limited but very good choices. Service was excellent. Outside dinning helped with the crowd noise compared with the inside. Nicely decorated. Good wine choices. An organic would be a nice addition.

My Branzini was amazing. I changed from spinach to broccoli rabe with no problem. Broccili rabe was crisp and garlicky! The veal parmigan was generous and great. I tasted most all..the homemade cheese purses in that pink sauce was to die for and so was the carbonara pasta. My husbands clam sauce was flavorful and the baby clams were tender. The drinks were hearty and large, no skimping in the alcohol dept. Love the music and the upbeat atmophere! And.. the prices though not cheap were reasonable. Coming back for sure!

I love having The Palms as a close by alternative in dining options. I was there for lunch with friends from out of town, and they enjoyed the salad choices. I usually get the Tuna Poke Bowl, and it did not disappoint. The servers were courteous and checked on us often. My only complaint is that with only a few servers on duty, they did the best they could, we waited 45 min to get our meal. Overall, 4 stars.
