Established in 1959, owners Jenny Youll and Mike Sabina expanded the once small coffeehouse of St. Michaels Alley into this intimate dining establishment in 2009. The restaurant provides three comfortable spaces for a dinner out with friends, date night, or a complete private event. The main dining room is wood paneled and intimate. The front room / bar area is more casual and social, yet still offers tables with linens and the full menu. The solid wood bar is a favorite dining spot for many of the regulars and locals.     What a terrific place. The staff was very attentive and very accommodating of my 92-year old mother who uses a walker. Food was delicious. Service was timely and allowed us to easily get to our performance at the Lucie Stern Theater in plenty of time.

    I hadn’t been to Evvia in years and it was so great to go back. My friend and I shared a bunch of appetizers: meatballs, octopus, roasted beets and the butternut squash. The octopus was fantastic as were the meatballs. We each had a glass of wine and the whole meal was $100. Will definitely do that again.
