It was the first public oven in New York State. Haviland’s Old Grist Mill and the public bakery were community gathering places for two centuries. Blown away by this little gem of a place. It’s clear that everyone who works here is happy to be here, even at the end of the night. This place has the best vibe and staff chemistry. And now to the food… OH MY GOD. Appetizers, drinks (including mocktails), entrees, and desserts were the highest quality in the whole area. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. One of the owners, DP, bartends and comes around to every table to make sure that everyone enjoyed themselves. Best Valentine’s Day ever. We will be back very soon.

I had a great experience for my first time at The George. I went with a friend for a galentine's pop up event they were hosting. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I can't wait to go back and try their brunch!
