Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Chelsea

Booked for a friend’s birthday and he was greeted with a handwritten birthday card. While ordering dessert we were torn between 2, ordered one but they provided us with both with a candle! Overall great dinner experience and would recommend for a special occasion. Great hospitality and would definitely return!

I am glad I came back, as our dining experience this time was excellent. We ordered a la carte (rather than the tasting menu/wine paring, which was a bit underwhelming last time) and we were thrilled with the dishes and the service. I had not had the Bantijian Bil Laban (crispy eggplant) before and it was delicious. Our server was extremely helpful in guiding us to the appropriate quantity of dishes for a party of three and the sommelier recommended a delicious bottle of Greek red wine. The host and hostesses at the reception desk were kind and accommodating and the bartenders were attentive. A lovely dining experience.

The food was delicious; cooked to perfection. The ambience was phenomenal. This is my fourth visit and it always feels like I’m entering the most exclusive restaurant in the city. Well recommended for a nice date night.

We totally enjoyed our early weekday splurge at Altair. The entire staff was warm and gracious from the hostess to the bartender who dazzled us with a fun cocktail creation mixe at the table. The food was spot n from the warm, rich pumpkin brioche, to the perfectly seasoned mushroom ravioli and sea bass. At one point a very large party was being seated with tables being rearranged that was a bit chaotic, but it quickly settled down and we enjoyed the rest of our dinner. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion and its location makes it a perfect pre-theatre dinner.

This place never misses! It’s so consistent. So friendly and the food is so so good!
