Beauty & Essex has an innovative design that starts in the restaurant’s entrance, a well-curated modern-day pawn shop replete with a saxophone, boombox, quirky artifacts, vintage treasures, and an eclectic array of “one-off” pieces of jewelry. We loved the location, the ambience and the coziness in general. It was not packed, which helped a lot with service, and the food arrived quickly. Noise level was high even if the place was not crowded. The food was good. Not great but pretty good overall.

Food was out of this world, ambiance stellar, and of course the experience was next level. On top of that, our waiter Joseph was OUTSTANDING. I’ve traveled the world for food and wine - this place, plus Joseph’s stewardship captaining the experience, was actually magical So, I’d recommend it :)

This one lives up to the hype! Every dish we had was memorable and something we’d come back for! Grilled cheese dumplings, kale & apple salad, miso eggplant, truffle mac & cheese and beef Wellington all highly recommended… the steak was super tender and tasty (we were skeptical). Oh and the espresso martini! You won’t be disappointed!

Perfect kind of fine dining experience - upscale, not uptight, incredible food, and really impeccable service. It is going to be hard to eat anywhere else for the next several months. We went to celebrate a birthday and engagement anniversary, and they made it very special and very aware that they knew and cared about it !
